After a 12 hour work day, I didn’t go see what happened in the kitchen work today. When I left for work this morning, there was measuring and prepping the oven and microwave install, and siding folks working outside. SO I know it will be different — but I’m going to wait until morning.
I had this fleeting thought — they could have painted the walls bright purple and installed disco lights. They could have put in shag carpeting. And they could have tacked a giant set of moose antlers over the door. But I didn’t bother to go look and see. I think I’m safe. Anthony Wilder does architecture with “whimsy” but not “tacky!” 🙂
I also think I’m safe because I would have heard the remonstrations of my family! And with that, this tired homeowner is going to bed!
